About Me
Hi, I'm Ali El Houari, founder and editor of Boarding Soon.
I've always been passionate about travel and discovering new places. Whether I'm traveling solo or exploring the world with my three kids, I'm always looking for the next adventure—and the best deal to get there.
Over the years, I've been fortunate to visit destinations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Asia, and North Africa, including Mexico, Colombia, the Bahamas, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Spain, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Morocco, Canada, and countless cities across the United States. Every trip has taught me something new about traveling smarter.
I'm genuinely obsessed with everything related to travel—from airlines, airports, loyalty programs, cruise ships, and travel technology to finding practical ways to save time and money on every trip.
I created Boarding Soon because I wanted a travel newsletter that cuts through the noise. Instead of spending hours reading dozens of travel websites, I curate the most important stories, explain what they mean, and deliver them in a concise, easy-to-read briefing that helps you travel smarter.
